He was predeceased by: his parents, James Robert Griffin and Mamie Strength Griffin; his wife Ophelia DeLoach Griffin; and his son Gary Griffin. He is survived by: his children, Ann Deavers (Dewey) of Verbena, Gerald Griffin (Donna) of Clanton, Joyce Cochran (Don) of McDonough, GA, Kathy Owens (Rick) of Alexander City and Carol Griffin of Clanton. He is also survived by 15 Grandchildren; and 25 Great Grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 health regulations, a drive-thru visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 from 6-7pm at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton.
