She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Dawson and Faye Lucas; and her grandson Mikey. She is survived by: her significant other Jerry Wayne Smith of Verbena; her stepfather Chester Lucas of Montevallo; and her children, Amanda Ray (Allen) of Verbena, Wayne Smith (Tammy) of Verbena, Shannon Smith of Verbena, Charity Loftis (Jimbo) of Tuscaloosa and Josh Smith (Haley) of Jemison. She is also survived by Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren; and she was the oldest of seven siblings.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ellison Memorial Funeral Home Chapel (1709 Lay Dam Rd, Clanton, AL 35046). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the funeral expenses.
