It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Whitfield of Vandiver, Alabama, who passed away on August 8, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Terry C. Whitfield; and his brother Jody Whitfield. He is survived by: his wife Mildred K. Whitfield; his children, Ashley Fields (Jake), Rickey L. Whitfield (Rita) and Randy E. Whitfield (Vanessa); and his siblings, Maryann Fincher, Clara Gossett and Robert R. Whitfield. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
