He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Carden and Mattie Carden; his wife Faye Carden; and his siblings, Homer Carden, Millard Carden and Edna Long (Sis).
He is survived by: his sister Bobbie Hughey; his children, Diane Adams (Kerry) and Bob Carden (Lynn); his grandchildren, Amy Adams (Laura), Brent Adams (Eileen), Beth Ellerbee (Nick), Clay Adams (Kate) and Katie Silakowski (Steve); and his great grandchildren, Connor, Addie Ellerbee, Olivia, Fletcher Adams, Nolan and Mattie Silakowski. He is also survived by Numerous nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to Smiths Station Baptist Church.
