She was predeceased by : her parents, Jewel Denson Reach and Mary Elizabeth Reach; and her brother Charles Denson Reach. She is survived by : her husband Samuel Eugene Elam; her children, Stephanie Melinda Smith and Robert Keith Akridge (Cortney); her grandchildren, Zackary Keaten Hicks, Janna Kensley Hubbard, Bryant Warren Akridge and Nora Leigh Akridge; her great grandchild Zackary Dewayne Hubbard; and her siblings, Jewel Swindle (Henry), Carolyn Medders (Roy), Jacquelyn Kinard, Brenda Morrison (Mickey) and James Reach (Brenda).
