He was predeceased by: his sons, Richard, Shane and Heath; his parents, Prude Pierson and Bertha Reach Pierson; and his siblings, Arzell Walker and Herbert Pierson.
He is survived by: his wife Gaynell Jones Pierson of Vance, AL; his daughter Tammy Siniard (Steve) of McCalla, AL; his siblings, Shirley Burnett (James), LaShawn Gregg, Peggy Pratt, Jo Ann Barger, Ed Pierson (Judy), Donnie Pierson (Kathy) and Mike Pierson (Beth); his grandchildren, Joshua Siniard, Jessica Trahan (Michael) and Joseph Siniard (Katie); and his great grandchildren, Kaisley Siniard, Jodie Siniard, Jentree Siniard, Pierson Siniard and Kennedy Trahan.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel (5434 Old Birmingham Hwy, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at the Johntown Cemetery.
