He is survived by: his children, Terriona Bailey (Gloria) of Valley, AL, Shonkedra Bailey of Valley, AL and Shermeka Wright (Chris) of Mobile, AL; his siblings, Apostle Willie Eva Hicks (James) of Lanett, AL, Shasta Darden of Cusseta, AL, Katie Pressley, Burniser Frazier (Anthony) of Valley, AL and Curtis Bailey; his grandchildren, Terrion Bailey, Anani Bailey, Kevion Cooper, Kevonte Cooper, Jakari Dunn and Shontorry Thomas; his great grandchild Kennedi Cooper; and his caregiver Evelyn Williams of LaGrange, GA. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel (612 M. L. King Drive SE, Lafayette, AL 36862). The lying in state was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM and at 2:00 PM at the Chosen Generation Worship Center (18192 US-431, La Fayette, AL 36862). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Fairview Cemetery (1335 River Rd, Valley, AL 36854).
