He was predeceased by: his brother Roy Gilbert, Jr.; his nephew Stanley Gilbert; and his parents, Roy Gilbert, Sr. (Dutch) and Ozelean Bramlett Gilbert. He is survived by: his nieces, Shelia Gilbert Byrnes of Williamsburg, VA, Jennie Howell of Oxford, AL and Tracey Hood of Lanett, AL; and his nephew Jason Gilbert of Madison, AL. He is also survived by one great-niece, two great-nephews and one great-great-nephew and many good friends.
