While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She was predeceased by: her husband Rudolph Leak Jr. (Rudy); her daughter Judith Leak-Tennant (Jude); and her former husband Lyman Bone. She is survived by: her sons, Jonathan Leak (Denise) of Woodstock, GA and Tommy Leak (Kelli) of Phenix City, AL; and her sister Thalia Newton. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home (3700 20th Ave, Valley, AL 36854). A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Mount Zion Methodist Church, P.O. Box 205, Smiths Station, AL 36877.
