It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjorie Helen Christie in Valley, Alabama, born in Dawson, Georgia, who passed away on June 24, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James W. Ginn and Marjorie Porter Ginn of Sasser, GA.. She is survived by: her husband David Kaigler Christie III; her sons, Chandler Christie and Brandon Christie (Laura) of Standing Rock, Alabama; her grandchildren, David Lane Christie (Georgia) and Tinley Reese Christie (Georgia); her brothers, Col. James P. Ginn and Col. Jerry W. Ginn; her sister-in-law Jane Christie Tillman; and her caregivers, Cathy Harris, Georgia and Anita Flowers. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
