She was predeceased by: her husband Charles H. Lane; her parents, Clayton Gibson, Sr. and Nettie Louise Dozier Gibson; her siblings, Mary Alice McCants, Jacob Gibson, Isaac Gibson and Clayton Gibson, Jr.; and her siblings-in-law, Elijah McCants and Sylvia Gibson.
She is survived by: her children, Reverend Edward Lane (Irene) of Salem, AL and Charlene Lane of Far Rockaway, NY; her grandchildren, Leonissa Lane of Salem, AL and Christen Lane of Huntsville, AL; her great grandchild Audrey Hamilton of Salem, AL; her brother Richard Gibson (Emma) of Valley, AL; her sister-in-law Pearlie Gibson of Valley, AL; and her cousin Mary Finch Phaire of Louisville, KY. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
