She is survived by: her husband David Lee Floyd Sr. of Valley, AL; her daughters, Betty King (Cleveland) of Valley, AL and Stephanie Floyd of Valley, AL; her grandchildren, Monique Fuller (Marcus) of Opelika, AL, Markedrick Floyd of Bronx, NY, Tiffany Floyd of Jonesboro, GA, Brandon Lee of Louisville, KY, Kamira Floyd of West Point, GA, Khadijah Floyd of Lanett, AL, Lakendra Floyd of West Point, GA and India Floyd of Auburn, AL; her great grandchildren, Micah Fuller, Olivia Huguley, Omari Jackson, Onyx Floyd, La'Xayden Phillips, Aubree Trammell, Ava Trammell, A'Laiya Trammell and Jamarco Trammell; her siblings, Phillip Summers of Cusseta, AL, Paul Dunn of Columbus, GA, Eddie Joe Dunn, Johnny Lee Dunn of Cusseta, AL, Johnny Winfield of Columbus, GA and Ruby Parson of Austin, TX; her sisters-in-law, Ida Floyd of Chicago, IL and Edith Coleman of Birmingham, AL; and her godson Steven Finch of Opelika, AL. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The lying in state was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Stephens C. M. E Church (2427 Columbus Rd, Valley, AL 36854). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Burrell Chapel AME Church (639 Lee Road 276, Cusseta, AL 36852). A burial was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at the Fairview Cemetery (1335 River Rd, Valley, AL 36854).
