He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Stewart and Jessie Stewart of Lanett; and his siblings, Roy Gherson Stewart (Betty Lee), Betty Stewart Smallwood Morris, Calvin Jackson Stewart (Annette) and Allen Jerry Stewart (Sheila).
He is survived by: his wife Johanne Stewart; his children, James H. Stewart (Joanna Diller), Carol Stewart (Keith Sharpe) and Andrew Jerrell Stewart (Kimberly); his grandchildren, Alana Joy, John Owen and Andrew Stewart; his uncle Nick Bolan (Carol); and his sister-in-law Jeanette Rader. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
