She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Madden and Annie Madden; her husband Booker T. Core; her son Bobby J. Core; and her siblings, O. D., Fred, Ned and Rebecca Vaughn.
She is survived by: her children, Billy L. Core of Valley, AL, Annie L. Evans (Willie) of Fairburn, GA, Loretta L. Core of Auburn, AL, Priscilla D. Lynch (Timothy) and Paige P. Core of Lanett, AL; and her sisters, Corsby Calhoun, Nettie Curtis, Ella Mae Dunn and Lillie McCullough (Haynie). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
