She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Lowery and Virtie Brewer Lowery; her husband Julian Wood; her children, Johnny Wood, Sr. and Shirley Wood Smith; her grandchildren, Pamela Smith and Steven Ray Wood; her great grandchildren, Steven Watson and Gracie McClain; and her brothers, Charles Lowery, Sammy Lowery and Wayne Lowery.
She is survived by: her son Terry Wood (Joyce); her godson Gerald Lowery (Janice); her daughter-in-law Marie Wood; her grandchildren, Johnny Wood, Jr. (Carrie), Misty Gibson (Ronald), Terry Wood, Jr. (Jetta), Lou Buckner (Jody), Amanda McClain (Stephen), Brent Wood (Melissa) and Chad Daniel (Ashley); and her sister-in-law Jerri Wood. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren; brother-in-law.
