It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Eugene Williams of Valley, Alabama, born in Alexander City, Alabama, who passed away on December 18, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Butch Hawkins; and his parents, Howard Williams and Mary Jo Akin. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Parrish Williams; and his brother Mike Parrish (Brenda). He is also survived by his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, Gene would have wanted to help the children who receive care at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Please consider a memorial donation in Gene's memory.
