He is survived by: his wife Virginia Turner; his children, Michael Shane Turner (Jill), Joanette "Joni" Wright, Matthew Byron Turner (Ashley), Teri Lynn Smith (Gary) and Warren "Mitch" Wright; his grandchildren, Hunter, Reese, Max, Waylon, Lilly, Christopher, Miranda of Allen, Alex and Austin; and his siblings, Randy Turner, Steve Turner (Jeff) and Angie Battles (David).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in memory of Dennis to the Pine Grove Church Building Fund, 7235 U.S. Highway 29 North, Opelika, Alabama 36804.
