She is survived by: her father Otis White, Sr.; her children, Regina Dozier, Tiffenie Dozier and Barrent Dozier; her grandchildren, Dealvonte "DJ" James, Ro'Mello "Mello" Murphy, Sydnie "Cupcake" Hodge and Zayden "Zay" Mitchell; her great grandchildren, Cincere "CJ" James, Kaveah "Kam" Murphy and Sekani "Kani" Wilson; her godson Willie Townsel-Whitlow; her siblings, Otis White Jr., Phil King (Magan), Latanya Pollard, Jackie White and Zena Whitlow; her aunts and uncles, Willie James Mackey, Dorothy Williams, Vonzie Whitlow, Olean Scruggs (Alvin), Charles King (Ethel), Helen Turner, Shasta Darden, Doris Faye Brown (Willie), Linda Burney, Debra Phillips, Vera Porter, Deborah Stringer, Mary Ann Murphy, Sarah Murphy, Rebecca Bailey, Frances Harper, Bertha Jackson, Peggy Scott and Pam McCants; her children, Krisse Story, Erica Murphy, Melissa Sanford, Libby Hayes and Carlos Hodge; and her close friends, Joseph Dozier, Thaddeus Jenkins and Gregory Greenwood. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel (612 M. L. King Drive SE, Lafayette, AL 36862). The lying in state was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church (11322 Veterans Memorial Pkwy, La Fayette, AL 36862). A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at the Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery (Camp Hill, AL 36850).
