It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bruce K. Brooks of Valley, Alabama, who passed away on October 2, 2024, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brother Peter Brooks; and his father-in-law Louie Frank Butts. He is survived by: his wife Janice Butts Brooks; his children, Holli Fairchild (Keyton) and Ryan Brooks; his parents, Ron Brooks and Elisabeth Brooks; his siblings, Ron Brooks, Tom Brooks (Sheila) and Arleen Hebert (Real); his uncle Jerry Brooks; his brothers-in-law, Greg Butts (Brenda Hodnett), Timothy Butts and Brent Butts; his mother-in-law Deloris Butts; his close friend David Treadway (Martha); and his cousin Hammelburg. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Outreach at Christ the King Catholic Church, PO Box 899, Pine Mountain, GA 31822.
