He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Reid and Beulah Huguley Reid; and his son Bobby Reid, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Bobbie M. Reid of Valley, AL; his children, Larry Reid of Louisville, KY, Marlin Carter (Tawanda) of Clarksville, TN, Marcia Thomas (Johnny) of Valley, AL and Wendy Ward (Donald) of Las Vegas, NV; his siblings-in-law, Marian Bryant of Valley, AL, Oscar Monagan of Valley, AL and Johnny Monagan of Atlanta, GA; and his close friends, John Lowe, Jr. and Marcus Hanes. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; ten greatgrandchildren.
