It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby N. Darby of Valley, Alabama, born in Castleberry, Alabama, who passed away on February 3, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Fletcher Darby; and his siblings, James Kenneth Darby, Garry Darby, Dennis Darby and Shelia Darby.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Ellen Darby; his sons, Fletcher Darby (Teresa) and James Darby (Brittany); his siblings, Phyllis Darby (Ronald) and Jerry Darby (Tommy); and his grandchildren, Haley Elliott (Josh), Payton Adams, Donnie Crews (Racheal), Darlene Johnson (Chad), Johnathan Moore (Elizabeth) and Samantha Moore. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made in his name to the Johnson Chapel Baptist Church.
