She is survived by: her husband Don Smith; her siblings, Barbara Swank (Dick), Jenny Johnson (Bob) and Jud Hay; her nieces and nephews, Lynn Martin (Jon), Samuel Wood (Larisa), Joy Hay and Bobby Johnson; and her furry feline Kandi.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home (3700 20th Ave, Valley, AL 36854). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel (3700 20th Ave, Valley, AL 36854).
