She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmie L. Hattaway Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Brenda Austin, Teresa Flournoy and Jimmie Hattaway Jr. (Kathy); her grandchildren, Michael Hattaway, Selena Hattaway, Christy Brantley (James), Scott Flournoy and Terri Flournoy; her great grandchildren, Savannah Hattaway, Raylee Chadwick, Heavyn Brantley (Evan), Kensly Flournoy and Madison Austin (David); her siblings, Jean Rice, Cole Moore and Beth Moore; her son Garon Tidwell; her grandson Jeffrey Austin; and her son-in-law Joe Mack Austin.

Visitation was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel (3700 20th Ave, Valley, AL 36854). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
