It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine Sloan of Valley Head, Alabama, who passed away on September 19, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ollie Kidd and Nellie Kidd; her husbands, Foye Blansit, Mac Ferguson and Huel Sloan; and her son Calvin Blansit.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Stacey Blansit, Angela Chambers (Rusty), Kenneth Blansit (Heather), Karina Weiss (Garrett) and James Thompson; her daughter-in-law Marie Blansit; her great grandchildren, Logan Chambers (Ryley), Tyler Blansit, Caleb Whitmire, Clyde Blansit, Landyn Blansit, Rylee Weiss and Stevie Weiss; and her great great grandchildren, Bence Chambers and Kenna Chambers.
