He is survived by: his children, Matt, Luke, Ben and Katie; his mother Mary Smith Freeman; his wife Karen Bowden Freeman; his children, John Thomas, William, Lillie, Faegan, Huelon, Thatcher and Belle Easley; his sister Lee Ann Howington; and his sister-in-law Jo Ellen Welch. He is also survived by his children and eight grandchildren.
