He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney E. Harris, Sr. and Sadie Rush Harris; his wife Mattie Harris; and his brother Franklin Harris. He is survived by: his children, Martha Jean Harris, Sidney E. "Chuck" Harris, III and George Charlton Harris (Renee); his grandchildren, Jessica Lee Harris Milton (Clay), Ivey Nicole Harris (Andrew Brooks) and Whitt Charlton Harris; his great grandchild Lucy Milton; and his brother William Donald Harris (Faye).
