She was predeceased by: her husband Asbury Middlebrooks; her great grandchild Clay Hawkins; and her parents, Emil Huckert and Ida Specht. She is survived by: her children, Mary M. Callaway, Johnny Middlebrooks, Annie Friday (Craig) and Wayne Middlebrooks (Debbie); and her grandchildren, Kim Peake (Lee), Shannon Pipkin (Kevin), Tammy Sims (Hart), Brandon McHugh (Kim), Kerri Chappelle, Dr. Erik Middlebrooks (Sara) and Zackary Middlebrooks. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Behavioral One – Autism Treatment and Support Center; 2081 Columbia Road, Vestavia Hills, Alabama 35216.
