He is survived by: his mother Margaret Ruby Langford Averette; his wife Loretta Smith Averette of Maplesville; his stepchildren, Gabrielle Jones (Robert Bratcher), Heather Hicks (Chris) and Jake Jones (Emily); his stepgrandchildren, Dalton Jones, Bo Bratcher and Benji Bratcher; his siblings, Theresa Runnels (Scot), Christine Chappelle (Michale), Sherry Bennett (Gray), Jeannie Averette and Michale Averette (Angelina); and his nephew Dewayne Averette. He is also survived by 9 children; 6 grandchildren, other numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
