She was predeceased by: her father Walter Fletcher; her former husband Royland D. Shoults; and her son Dan Christopher. She is survived by: her husband Robert Smedley; her stepdaughter Janet Smedley Smith; and her sons, Kyle Shoults and Calvin Shoults. She is also survived by six grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
