She was predeceased by: her parents, Collins Horton and Nolayer Horton; her husband James Welford Brewer; her brothers, Bobby Horton and J. C. Horton; and her grandson Robert Kelly.
She is survived by: her children, Charlie Horton (Wanda), Jeffery Smith (Lydia), Debbie MacGregor (Bruce), Chrissie Carroll (Steve), Sandy McCormick (Milton), J. W. Brewer (Rita), Willis Brewer (Stephanie), Willie Brewer (Stephanie), Andy Smith (Ashley) and Anthony Brewer (Deeanna); her grandchild Tate Perry; and her siblings, Joyce Tyler (Sammy) of Pine Hill, Levie Horton of Marion, Jamie Horton of Marion Junction, Allen Horton of Marion and Eddie Horton (Susan) of Valley Grande. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lawrence Funeral Home (5171 AL-22, Valley Grande, AL 36701). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
