It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Debbie Gene Gilmore Odom (Valley Grande, Alabama), born in Mobile, Alabama, who passed away on March 7, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Earl Gilmore and Nellie Estelle Trammell; her husband Chester Odom, Sr.; and her siblings, June Gilmore, Sonny Gilmore and Bo Gilmore.
She is survived by: her children, Kendall Smith (Kim), David Smith, Sr. (Lettie), Cynthia Pilgrim (Charles) and Chester Odom; her grandchildren, Tori, Blaine, David, Jr. (Rachel), Alex (Katie), Brittany, Brooklyn (Bret), Danna, Bryant, Trevor, Colton and Chloe; and her siblings, Margarette Foster, Joyce Small, Ethel Byrd (Robert), Dorothy Allbritten and Charles Lambert. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
