She was predeceased by: her husband Willie Sanders, Sr.; her sisters, Callie Peoples, Louvenia Blevins and Bama Richardson; and her grandchildren, LaShelle Sanders and Rodrick Marshall.
She is survived by: her children, Rose Sneed, Robert Williams, Velma Shuford (John), Shirley Sanders Rudolph, Barbara Malone (Sylvester), Willie Sanders, Jr. (Patricia), Jessie J. Sanders, Emmanuel Sanders (Mary), Dorothea Bennett and Stephanie Sanders; her siblings, Doris Lanier, Mary Nell Mitchell, Maggie Brewer, Eunice Haynes (Jerry) and Elijah Williams (Dale); her sister-in-law Anna Sanders; and her friend Marie Likely. She is also survived by grandchildren, twenty- five great grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren.
