She was predeceased by: her parents, James Thomas Brown and Madgie Mae Barber Brown; her husband Richard Woodard; her son Charles A. Woodard; and her siblings, Derrell, James H., Johnny, Jackie Brown and Mary K. Ellenburg.

She is survived by: her daughters, Delitha Madewell (Charles) and Audry Worley (Langston); her sisters, Betty Faye Edwards, Frances Bonds and Virginia Raburn; and her great grandchildren, James Woodard, Devin Madewell, Brandon Madewell, Juan Worley, Abel Worley and Dewayne Speegle. She is also survived by Eight Grandchildren.
