It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Van Woods of Uriah, Alabama, who passed away on August 29, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Geneta Woods; his parents, Walter Woods and Maiselle Woods; and his siblings, Burl Woods, Alfred Woods, Mason Woods, Johnny Woods and Patricia "Duck" Hollinger.
He is survived by: his sons, David Woods (Mary) of Repton, Mike Woods of McCullough and Jimmy Woods (Jane) of Poarch; his sisters, Elizabeth "Jody" Byrd of Bay Minette, Betty Sue Fretwell of Semirah Springs and Mary Ella Etheridge of Daphne; his sister-in-law Mona Helton Woods of Atmore; and his grandchildren, Michael Paul Woods, Mary Nicole Lambert, Jessica Danielle Williams, Joey Sturdivant, Ryan Woods, Jason Sturdivant, Allison Roley, Kyna McDonald and Denise Respress. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
