He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Huffman Carroll; his son Michael Shane Carroll; and his parents, Jessie James Carroll and Hattie Mae Stacey Carroll. He is survived by: his sons, James K. Carroll of Bay Minette and Terrell G. Carroll of Woodstock; his siblings, Loyd Ray Carroll of McCalla, Ann Satterlee and Marie Canoso of Oreg; and his grandchildren, Destiny and Gunner. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
