He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey Mitchell and Daisy McClesky Mitchell; and his son Dennis Lloyd Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Madelyn Potter Mitchell of Uriah; his daughters, Donna Marie Mitchell of Birmingham, Dana Ruth Mitchell Wyatt of Andalusia and Delaina Ann Mitchell of Uriah; and his sister Sandra Pugh of Birmingham. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
