It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Harrison (Uriah, Alabama), who passed away on March 4, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Harrison and Margaret "Maggie" Sellers Harrison; his wife Amanda Rebecca "Peggy" Harrison; and his daughter Deborah Kay Ikner. He is survived by: his son Darrell Harrison (Louise) of Uriah, AL; his brother Harold Harrison (Faye) of Uriah, AL; his grandchildren, Derek Harrison (Delania), Heather Ikner Wasden (Travis) and Erica Hope Jeter (Danny); his great grandchildren, Elizabeth Travis, Emily Wasden, Cecilia Harrison, Shane Reed, Dawson Chagnon, Kyndal Hyatt and Zayden Harrison; and his great great grandchild Madilynn Travis.
The family is accepting flowers or donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
