It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Rose Strickland Vann (Uniontown, Alabama), who passed away on December 13, 2018, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Elijah Bell Vann Jr.; her siblings, Franklin Roosevelt Strickland, Jack Marion Strickland and Dorothy Strickland Lott; her sons, James Boyd Vann and Jerry Lee Vann; and her great grandchild Katie Elizabeth Hope Vann.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Brunson (Huett) of Browns, Thomas Wayne Vann (Tammy) and Gordon Vann (Mary); her siblings, B. R. Strickland, Larry Strickland, Dell Sager and Pamela Strickland; and her grandchild Sixteen.
