It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susie Mae Townsend of Union Springs, Alabama, who passed away on December 24, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Frazier Townsend and Ethel Townsend; her children, Yameika, Jamila and Tywon Townsend of Union Springs, AL.; her grandchildren, MJ, Edmshia, Amarion, Tamiya, Aurbrianna, Gaebrianna and Jeremiah Townsend of Union Springs, AL.; her siblings, Brenda Townsend, Annie Pearl Wilburn (Jerry) of Saginaw, Michigan., Frazier Townsend (Katie), Willie James, Sammie Townsend (Melinda) and Richard Townsend; her sisters-in-law, Wilma Weems and Beatrice Townsend of Saginaw, Michigan.; her niece Shirley Jackson (Frederick) of Saginaw, MI.; her aunt Louise Weems Lee of Saginaw, MI.; her friend Lizzie Pickett of Saginaw, MI.; her sons, Bernard and Aberdean Townsend; and her siblings, Annie Will, Curtis, Margaret Townsend and Bobby Newby.
