He is survived by: his wife Claudine Howell Oswald; his children, Aaron Whitt (Brenda), Terry Oswald (LeeAnn), Vicky Wilson (Thomas), Frances Nichols (Tim), Nina Sturkey (Michael) and Evelyn Whelchel (Tracy); and his grandchildren, Tonya Aria, Matthew Wilson, Charlie Whitt, Stacy Collins, Joshua Wilson, Steven Whitt, Justin Oswald, Gina Oswald, Stephanie Wilson, Erin Motes, Anna Phillips, Deana Estes and Debra Estes.
