It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel Mae Borders (Union Springs, Alabama), who passed away on December 11, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her children, Mary Borders Fort, Tommie Borders, Jr. and Henry Scott, Jr.; her siblings, Richard Baker, Henry Baker, William Baker, Tommie Baker, Clemmie Baker, Mattie Lou Jenkins, Evergreen Johnson, Susie Brown and Annie Bell Youngblood; and her parents, William Baker and Annie Lee Burton Baker of Union Springs, AL..
She is survived by: her children, Annie Kate Borders of Union Springs, AL, Josie Faye Terry, Edna Jean Borders Shell, Mattie Louise Sylvers (Dwight), Lela Mae Borders (Irvin Foster), Diane Borders and Beverly Alford; and her sisters, Annie Grace Youngblood (Joe) and Ola Bell Jackson. She is also survived by two great great grandchildren along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
