He was predeceased by: his brothers, Philip "Flip" Mittag and Mark Mittag. He is survived by: his wife Vina Mittag; his children, Michelle Coffey and Matthew Mittag; his parents, Heinz Mittag and Carol Mittag; and his nephew Davidson Mittag. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
