He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Jerry Wayne Burgess, Jr.; his daughter Susan Burgess Murray; his brother-in-law Neil; his daughter Tiffany Carter; his brother-in-law Aaron; his grandchildren, Jared Burgess, Kaleb Burgess, Devon Murray, Garett Murray, Colby Blanken, Emilee Blanken, Shelbie Blanken and Mariah Baken; his great grandchild Serenity Blanken; his sisters, Patricia Hill, Christine King, Lillie Selby and Teresa Carter; and also Christina. He is also survived by wife of 47 years, Kathy Day Burgess; son.
