With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Marion Helms of Union Grove, Alabama, who passed away on October 28, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Anderson Tidwell Helms and Estelle Westbrook Helms; his daughter Sherry Helms Nin (Manuel); his brother Wendell Helms (Vilma); his grandsons, Joshua K. Cavender, Zachary A. Cavender (Jessica) and Antonio A. Nin; his great grandchildren, Case A. Cavender and Camille E. Cavender; his wife Mary Annette Gosa Helms; his son Michael Keith Helms; and his siblings, William Helms and Lois Ann Helms Garrett. He was also cherished by friends, taking his great grandchildren.
In Liue of Flowers; the Family of Mr. Helms has requested that donations be made to thre Highland Baptist church and to the Helms Memorial Fund at 23 Highland Avenue Lacey's Spring, Alabama - 35754.
