With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlie Wayne Short of Union Grove, Alabama, who passed away on June 2, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, R. C. Short and Atha Hyatt Short of Union Grove, AL.. He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his sister Margaret Short Lee; and his children, Wade Short (Martha), Kerry Short Mitchell (Steve), Jana Carr Weaver (Donnie), Connie Carr Nance (David), LeAndra Carr Martin (Craig) and Allison Kirk Knight (Daniel). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
