As Nellie Lou departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Nellie Lou. Though Nellie Lou may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Vaughan and Alva Eleanor Vaughan; and her sister Alva Jean Vaughan. She is survived by: her sisters, Emily Vaughan of Tuskegee and Lorinda Richardson (Hoss) of Tuskegee; and her nieces, Jennifer Weldon, Heather Hartley and Holly Richardson. She is also survived by two great nephews; and one great niece.
