Peterson, Jr. (Birdie) of Opelika, AL and Lynne Hicks of Chantilly, VA.; his nephew William Hicks (Waleska); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Isaiah, Elijah and Callan Hicks of Covington, LA; his nieces and nephews, Brett Preston of Grand Ridge, FL and Lauren Attridge (Thomas); his great-nephew Donovan Attridge of Centreville, VA; his niece Bridgett Preston; his nephew Corey Peterson (Stefanie); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Saylor and Rivers Peterson of Helena, AL; his niece Jacqueline Yolanda Johnson Pittman (Christopher, Jr.); his great-niece Victoria of Atlanta, GA; his great-nephew Ty Thornton of Atlanta, GA; his nieces and nephews, Christopher Johnson of Atlanta, GA and Leajuanne Preston of Atlanta, GA; and also, Thomas Peterson III (Sharon), Sincere Peterson of Opelika, AL, Elaina Preston, Christiana Pittman and Camissa Johnson Thornton (Victor). He is also survived by numerous cousins, other relatives, colleagues, and dear friends.
