He is survived by: his sister Cindy Tyson Glass; and his children, James Thomas Tyson Jr. Donna, Melissa Hope Mccullars, Elizabeth Ann Tyson and Phillip Daniel Tyson. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
