He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Scott and Rosa Lee Scott; and his siblings, Jimmy Max Scott and Marilyn Joyce Lacy. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Scott; his children, William Todd Scott and Virginia "Gina" Tippett Holt; his grandchildren, Emily Thorne (Jacob), Sarah Etie (Sebastian) and Timmy Scott; and his great grandchildren, Easton Hodges, Annabelle Grace Thorne, Hayden Tippett, Grayson Etie, Bella Etie, Rosie Scott and Hazlie Scott.
