He was predeceased by: his parents, W. H. Battles (Dub) and Mary Joyce Battles; and his brother Mark Battles. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Battles; his children, Brett Battles (Sarah) and Brooke Burns (AL); his brother Mike Battles; and his grandchildren, John Sawyer Battles, Ava Battles, Aalivia Burns, Cal Burns, Kenna, Jayden, Mason and Kohyn Butler.
